What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file placed on a visitor's device when they open a site. It lets the site carry one piece of information from page to page, a display preference for instance.
The one cookie in use
This site sets one cookie, and one only.
NEXT_LOCALE Purpose: remember the chosen language, French or English, so the site shows in the right one from page to page. Duration: the browsing session. It is deleted when the browser closes. Type: strictly necessary first-party cookie. Personal data: none.
What this site does not set
No audience measurement cookie, no advertising cookie, no third-party tracker and no social network button is used.
The video player is configured to set no cookies.
Since the cookie described above is strictly necessary for the site to work, no prior consent is required and no cookie banner is shown.
Managing cookies
Cookies are managed from the browser settings, which allow them to be blocked or deleted. Blocking the language cookie is possible: the site stays usable, but the chosen language is no longer carried from page to page.
